Over a period of 15 years a wide range of projects were undertaken, ranging from pieces of store furniture, installations created in collaboration with the owners, Fashion Week presentations and work produced as content for the brands publishing interests.
A key theme of all projects was the potential for elements within them to have an independent duration of their own, meaning they could be combined, not as originally intended, over time and develop a language of their own when combined in new ways.
The work, and freedom, provided by generous briefs, established a working practice that is still evident in our work. This was, and is, interested in an intentional ambiguity concerning what is existing, new, and newly combined, and the potential for the ready made and archetypal to be presented in subtly altered ways.
