I am your Simulacrum
The project brief was for an object that could act as both a projection screen and a stage within a London square for artist Yi Zhou and the premier of her film ‘My Heart Laid Bare’, featuring Charlotte Gainsburg. Centrally located, the ‘screen’ adopted a mirrored position to the ornamental fountain located opposite, and was intended to be viewed as a pavilion with a formal relationship to the entire square when not in use.
